First step in creating my contents page is the text. It will be simple for the contents page, in the same font as on the front cover; Perpetua Titling MT for the headings. For the list of contents it will be in Tekton pro.
I have decided to stick to the first layout, this is because I think it looks the most interesting and the most functional. After my research into contents pages I have learnt that the layout of the contents page is extremely important and that if it does not blend well, it will just look messy. This would make it hard to read for the readers of the magazine so it is important for the page to be functional and easy to read. I think that with this first layout I will achieve these aspects of contents pages.
I have included the content list and the captions for the pictures, and left room for the pictures to upload.
I decided to include an editors letter part at the bottom of the page because I thought that it would look more realistic.
After looking at the page as a whole I decided to change the colour to red to tie in with the rest of the page and the pink looked too girly.
By including the picture I think that the page is starting to look much better and really coming together. I had to change the font overlapping the picture from red to white because the red blended in with the brick background.
