Images on the Double Page Spread

I have chosen this landscape long shot image as a possibility for the main image on the double page spread. I have enhanced the contrast and the rightness slightly just to make the image more vibrant. I really like the way the girls are posed on this image, because they look relaxed and comfortable with themselves and their music. This is the main message i want coming across from my images. When taking the pictures i did not want them to look too posed and set up because that is not what the genre of music they are representing is about. It expresses freedom and I think this picture shows that well. Even though it is not a plain background i think because of the colours they are wearing and their poses, they stand out against it all, and it makes the image different and more interesting than the others. This image would be too big to fit onto one side of the double page spread, so it would have to be the main image across both pages.

I also really like this portrait long shot image of the girls, their poses are equally as relaxed and with both hands on their hips they look very in sync with each other and like the are a band.
When looking at this image, I had problems with it because originally it has a pipe int eh middle of the two girls, and this looked strange,as if the pipe was coming out of her head. so to modify this I selected and copied a part of some of bricks already in the image and pasted them on top of the pipe. I think that the image looks good and not as if it has been severely photo shopped. I slightly enhanced the contrast of this image to make the colours stand out more.

Overall I really like both these images and would be happy with both of them on my double spread, to decide on which one, I will have to see which image looks best with everything else on it, and see whether the pages look best with the first image taking up the whole double page or the second image just on one side of the page.

 For the smaller images on the double page I really like this one because it is very nice of them with their heads together because it increases the message of them two being friends. I would have to photo shop that pipe from her head. 


This is the other image that I will include for my double page, I like this image because it has a different background to the rest of the images, and with their back to back pose it, again, shows their friendship and how they are close as a band. 

This is the final image that will be on the double page spread. I really like this image, because out of the three small images it is the only one where they are laughing together and look like they are having fun. Luckily I will not have to fix any anything on the image on photo shop, I may just enhance the colours.
