My target audience for my magazine is both males and females, between the ages 16 and 24. However, I feel that from the way I have written my magazine and the colours and images I have used, I think it would be more biased towards females.
The ideal reader would be a student, preferably a girl.
She would have a very broad taste in music, with no favourite genre.
She would be interested in fashion as well as music, and love going to festivals and gigs.
She would be constantly listening to her i-pod and be up to date with the latest music and fashion magazines.
She would not be afraid to stand out and would be diverse from her friends, not conforming to the new trends.
She would listen to bands such as Lykke Li, Vampire Weekend, Sleigh Bells, Kings of Leon and popular stars like Katy Perry and Rihanna.
She would enjoy spending her time going out with friends or going to the cinema, and of course, going to gigs.
She would be the first in line for V festival and Reading festival tickets.
